The “L” in this Jeep’s name is more about length than luxury. However, you can snag a very luxurious Grand Cherokee L. There are six trim models available, all of which are handsomely equipped with modern tech features and spacious, comfortable seating. As you move up the trim levels, you’ll find the luxury you’re after. Choose from the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve for the features you crave.
The entry-level Laredo is loaded with cruise-friendly features, such as tri-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and sliding second-row captain’s chairs. Tech features also abound, with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety aids are also standard, including blind-spot warning and forward collision mitigation.
The Altitude adds a few luxuries, including remote start, leather-trimmed seats, and heated front seats. Move up to the Limited for LED fog lights, a power liftgate, and heated second-row seats. For even more luxury (and rugged performance gear), there’s the Overland, which adds to the aforementioned features with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, full leather upholstery, and hands-free liftgate.
At the top of the heap, there’s the aptly-named Summit and Summit Reserve. These have their own style, with features that include a gloss black roof, four-zone automatic climate control, and premium audio systems. The Summit Reserve even includes ventilated rear seats and premium leather upholstery.
