If you’ve been thinking about getting a powerful pickup truck, perhaps the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX has crossed your mind. If it has, you’ll want to act soon—Dodge has announced that after this year, the TRX will be no more. Before it goes, let’s take a look at how it measures up against a formidable opponent, the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R, in its last model year.
Is This the Final Year For the Ram TRX?
Stellantis, Ram’s parent company, has announced this year is the end of the line for the TRX. With 2024 as the last year of production, there isn’t much in the way of changes. There is, however, a Final Edition exclusively made for this model year, but only 4,000 will be available.
The Final Edition comes in three colors—Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise. Its beadlock-capable wheels are in Satin Titanium, and its bedside graphics are also exclusive.
Aside from the Final Edition, the standard TRX trim is still available—they are priced at $119,000 and $98,000 respectively. The Raptor R is priced at about $111,000.
What Engine Is Seen in the 2024 Ram TRX?

Is the 2024 Ram TRX Comfortable?

Its insulation covers outside noise well, and its cloth upholstery and standard features are based on those of Ram 1500 Rebel. Its climate control works like a charm to keep all occupants cool in extreme heat. There is plenty of room to move for all passengers, and its large windows and mirrors make it easy to see everything that needs to be seen.
The Raptor R is also quite comfortable. Its front seats are leather, heated and ventilated. Dual-zone automatic climate control keeps all occupants comfortable, no matter where they sit.
Interior options for the Raptor R include carbon fiber trim and Recaro front sport seats with upholstery of black leather and Alcantara suede.
