The Jeep Avenger is not sold in the United States, and it’s relatively new. As Jeep’s smallest offering, it was made mostly for the European market, but has branched out to other countries, including Australia, and it’s about to be introduced in Brazil.
This isn’t the first time Stellantis (Chrysler) has used the Avenger moniker. The Dodge Avenger was a North American sedan that saw its demise in 2014. The new Jeep made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in late 2022.
Will the Avenger eventually come stateside? We don’t know, but let’s take a look at what the Avenger offers.
Key Takeaways:
- The Jeep Avenger is Stellantis smallest ever vehicle
- The Avenger has a hybrid or full EV engine—the hybrid is not available in all markets.
- The Jeep Avenger was introduced primarily to the European market for 2023, but has since branched out to Australia and Brazil.
What Powertrain Will Be Seen in the 2025 Jeep Avenger?
The Avenger comes in two models—hybrid and battery on the STLA Small platform, which it shares with the Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka and DS 3 Crossback. Made for the trail, it offers a ground clearance of 7.9 inches, a 20 to 21 degrees of approach angle, a 32 to 34 degree of departure angle, and 20 degree breakover angle. Jeep’s patented "Selec-Terrain" drive mode is also featured here—with Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, and Sand modes and Hill Descent Control, drivers are ready for just about anything.
The battery electric version is the more well known of the two versions and in some countries, it’s the only version available. It features a 400 V front-mounted electric motor that produces 154 horsepower, 115 kW, 26.5 kg⋅m and 192 lb⋅ft of torque. Its 54 kWh battery offers a range of up from 250 to 340 miles.
Is the Exterior of the 2025 Jeep Avenger Nice?
The Jeep Avenger is ready for the trail. Its exterior features tow hooks, wide fenders and track, and large, exposed tires, with thicker cladding on the front and built-in flood lights to shed greater light on the road ahead.
Owners can also carry luggage on the roof, thanks to the lightweight roof cargo system with a belt that compresses it tightly so it doesn’t move. An anti-reflective hood sticker and anti-scratch grille treatment makes the off-road ride that much more enjoyable and safe.
Where is the 2025 Jeep Avenger Going to be Offered?
The Avenger is branching out! While it is made mostly for the European market, it was introduced to Australia in 2024 and it appears to be headed for South America, starting with the Brazilian market.
In Brazil, the Avenger will feature a turbocharged 1.0-liter T200 inline-three-cylinder engine, paired with belt-start generation (BSG) system that adds extra torque and generates energy for charging the supporting 12-volt Lithium-Ion battery.
Will the Avenger Ever Make It to the U.S.?
At this time there is no plan for the Jeep Avenger to come to the United States. However, it is expanded to other countries, so things can change for this sedan. If there are new developments regarding the Jeep Avenger, we’ll keep you posted!
