What’s new for the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer?
As of this writing, Jeep hasn’t introduced its new Wagoneer, but we don’t expect major changes for the 2024 model year. After making a splash debut for the 2022 model year, it’s not quite time for the Wagoneer’s mid-cycle refresh.
However, there is a Wagoneer EV on the horizon, though it’s considered a completely separate model. Like the gas-powered Wagoneer, this electric SUV will come in three trim models: Series I, Series II, and Series III.
Jeep says that this new Wagoneer EV will have a 400-mile range and generate up to 600 horsepower. Better still, this full-size SUV will go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds!
What are the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer powertrain specs?
Again, we’re not 100 percent certain what will be under the Wagoneer’s hood, but we suspect it will offer the same engine options as last year, a standard V8 and optional turbocharged six-cylinder engine. We also expect the new Wagoneer to continue towing best-in-class figures of up to 10,000 pounds.
The 2024 Wagoneer engine options should look similar to last year’s offerings:
- Series I: 5.7L V8 (392 horsepower, 404 lb-ft of torque)
- Series II and III: turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (420 hp, 468 lb-ft)
- Eight-speed automatic transmission
- Four-wheel drive
- 10,000 lbs max towing
Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer a luxury SUV?
The Wagoneer is very much a luxury SUV. Again, we don’t know exactly what to expect for 2024, but last year’s Wagoneer can give us a pretty good idea of what to expect! All three trim models – the Series I, Series II, and Series III – are handsomely equipped with high-end features.
For instance, the Series I comes standard with leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, and driver’s seat memory settings. The base infotainment setup gives you a 10.2 inch touchscreen, built-in navigation, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among other features.
When you upgrade to the Series II, it builds on the base lineup with luxurious upgrades, such as active noise cancellation and LED ambient cabin lighting. The Series III is the ultimate luxury cruiser, adding to the aforementioned features with heated second-row seats, power-reclining third-row seats, and adaptive air suspension!
When can I order the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer?
If all goes well, we hope to take your order for the 2024 Wagoneer before the summer is over! And we’ve got our fingers crossed that this new luxury SUV will arrive by fall 2023. We’re still waiting on Jeep to announce official release dates, however. If you’d like us to contact you with updates, give us a call at Thunder!
