The first four trim levels are the SXT, SXT Plus, GT, and GT Plus, bringing much of the same features but for the fact that the SXT is configured for rear-wheel drive and the GT has all-wheel drive. These four all come equipped with the starting 3.6-liter V6 engine matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission, providing 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque to the 17-inch alloy wheels. Technology is a must in the modern age, and the Charger doesn't disappoint. Taking center stage within the interior is a seven-inch touchscreen with build in Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear camera viewing when in reverse, and available satellite radio. Music and phone connectivity both have voice recognition commands, as well as steering-wheel mounted hands-free button controls for radio modes and phonecalls. The front bucket seats are power adjustable and come with quality cloth upholstery. The rear seat folds 60/40, and expands the already large 16.5 cu.ft of trunk space. The Plus editions features standard upgrades such as 18-inch alloy wheels, LED foglights, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The GT Plus also gains leather upholstery, seat ventilation, heated rear seats, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
R/T
The R/T takes a step up in performance, introducing the Charger's second powertrain system. The 5.7-liter V8 generates 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque, paired with additionally upgraded brakes, sport-tuned suspension, 20-inch wheels, and transmission paddle shifters mounted to the steering-wheel. A Plus Package is also available for the R/T, supplying benefits such as xenon headlights, heated and ventilated sport seats, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and heated steering wheel. A Premium Package bundles those features along with automatic wipers, GPS navigation, and a ten-speaker Beats Audio sound system.
Daytona, R/T Scat Pack, and Daytona 392
Taking a step up into the Charger Daytona, you get all of the Plus and Premium Package features standard, along with further performance enhancement systems. A fine-tuned performance suspension keeps the ride smooth and responsive on 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Within, upholstery upgrades to stylish and upscale leather and suede materials. Where the Daytona takes upgrades in tech and looks, the R/T Scat Pack takes the R/T foundation and adds a bigger 6.4-liter V8 engine to generate 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Accompanying this upgrade are Brembo high-performance brakes and more aggressive suspension settings to handle the new stability stresses. The Daytona 392 combines the best of these two worlds, bringing together technology advancements and the bigger third powertrain into one amazing build.
SRT 392
Edging onto the tracks of drag races, the SRT 392 adds to the R/T Scat Pack a new adaptive suspension, Pirelli high-performance tires, Daytona 392's upgraded brakes, xenon headlamps, and a flat bottom performance steering wheel. To the interior, all-leather upholstery carries real swagger to backup the power and sound, and a power-adjustable steering column is added. To the already optional ten-speaker Beats Audio sound system, another audio option becomes available: a booming 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo with trunk subwoofer.
SRT Hellcat
The top of the line Hellcat is the fastest and most powerful Charger thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine churning out 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. To handle this amazing power, the steering and suspension tuning both get upgraded, and all of the specialized equipment of the SRT 392 are standard in the Hellcat as well.
